Bookish Links : 14 October

Happy Wednesday everyone! I've had such a positive, creative week this week! I think I'm that much closer to striking the balance between working for my clients and pursuing projects that I love. Here are some lovely distractions to lighten up your week.

Nora Ephron was known for having a wide circle of friends, she practically collected friends as a sport! How she did it is so sweet and interesting. In that spirit, if any of you want to say hi, feel free to send me a mail or FB message on the Bookish page, I'd love to hear from you.

Financial Times has lunch with Jonathan Franzen. What do you think about him? He shares some valuable insight in this article but I still think he's a bit of a douche.

Loved the picture in my article on Three Lives & Company? Here some more illustrations of bookstores in New York

A Romanian author's first novel in English is being fought over by publishers all over the world. What makes it so special?

A beautiful writing lesson on how to write scenes with all five senses. A must for all creative writers. Thank you Jade for the recommendation!

That's it for this week!

xx
